The Stimulation Funds for the North of The Netherlands (SNN) has approved a subsidy application for a group of companies, institutions and non-profits to create the BRAINR network. With the goal of revitalising and realigning the construction industry in the Northern provinces of The Netherlands, the BRAINR network will connect small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with knowledge in research and education. Focusing on the digital transition, BRAINR will consist of a series of activities to help creat one of the most dynamic construction sectors in Europe.
The 1AA1 Foundation is leading a group including the TU Delft to advance the theoretical foundations an outreach potential of the BRAINR mandate. Starting with a presence at the 17th International Venice Biennale as part of the virtual Italian Pavilion, 1AA1 will conduct activities in the coming years to stimulate dialogue and broaden dissemination.
